I booked double room, it was gorgeous and complete with a/c, a decent hot shower, for example. The location turned out to be particularly good, just off Galle, Fort, the lighthouse and the ocean, and excellent restaurants.

We stayed at a guesthouse in Galle Fort and had a fantastic experience. the twin bed room was very comfortable with small double beds. the bathroom had hot water and the balcony outside offered a nice view of the quiet street. the wifi and air conditioning worked well, and the breakfast was the best we had during our trip to Sri Lanka. The location was great, just a short walk to the lighthouse and recommended restaurants. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like. 👍.
